Okay...this is my latest obsession... SAMURAI 7!
Dude! It is seriously an epic anime! I seriously recommend it! (I am in love with Heihachi-kun...)

The fellow in your signature? He is quite adorable, I must admit. Unfortunately, I've never really watched anime. (although one I saw somewhere looked positively neat... cravats and breeches!)
Please refer to then name of this webpage at the top of your browser window before you read further. This has nothing to do with anime, but I want to talk about it!
What I have been watching recently (which have nothing to do with anime) are a series on ROME: RISE AND FALL OF AN EMPIRE, Nacho Libre, The Hunt for Red October, and the silent 1923 Lon Chaney version of Hunchback of Notre Dame. I didn't care for Nacho Libre, and I didn't get very far with the silent movie...
Quote from the original Mason Dixon Knitting book: "(Under TV to Knit By, Any Married Woman) Husband's action movies. Kay has sat through The Hunt for Red October enough times to knit several ponchos but she still has no idea what the whole thing is about or why the captain of the Russian submarine has a Scottish burr"
Mouse: That's probably because he's a Scottish actor... And I don't know why you don't understand it at all. I watched it voluntarily. I like Cold War era science fictionesque drama. What I want to know is, if Inspector/Mr. Ryan is a member of the CIA, why does he seem to be in Britain at the beginning of the movie? Also, why does Alec Baldwin's character, who doesn't smoke, gesture for a cigarette from the guy who I believe is the Red October reactor technician?
And therein ends my little off-topic rant on The Hunt for Red October.
